Oct 9 - We are back with some excerpts of voice sheet music from Monteverdi's L'Orfeo which is an early famous Baroque opera that is still regularly performed. It tells the story of Greek Orpheus' descent to Hades and his attempt to bring his dead bride Eurydice back to the world.

Sep 21 - First off we have a piano piece by Chaminade. It's a shorter piece by comparison to Dussek's. We are sure you will find either or both a challenge to add into your growing repertoire of pieces. Another piece by Mayerl, that is light and fun. Remember to keep puppets in mind as you play these three super syncopations that he composed. Enjoy playing today's selection and without further ado, here are your links for today's pieces.
Sep 14 - Mayerl was an English composer and pianist, who wrote over 300 pieces. Today we have two pieces by Mayerl. The first is entitled "Shy Ballerina" and the second is "Eskimo Kisses". They are both fun light pieces for the piano. The last one for you is by Vorisek, "Sonata Op. 20".
Sep 11 - It's been a while since a piece for a flute has been posted. For those of you who are able, 24 Flute Concert Studies by Bach. Wagner's Isodina is inspired by the story of Tristan and Isolde. A love story that has captured the imagination of many. Lastly, another piece by Delibes, "Flower Duet" from Lakme for piano players.
Sep 1 - It's been a while since we've posted a polka for piano. For your pleasure we have a polka by Delibes. If the polka isn't your style we have a Sonata by Dussek or a shorter piece by Benjamin. Hope you have all been enjoying your summer and with the fall season approaching I am sure many of you are returning to your normal routines of practice, practice, and more practice. Aug 19 - A shorter piece for those who want a new piece to work on by Wild. Should be entertaining if you are familiar with George Gershwin's work. His Etude No.1 is based upon his piece entitled "LIZA". For those who have a bit more time on their hands and patience give Berlioz your time and you will be rewarded with beautiful music. Lastly we have Novak's, Youth Suite. It contains all 21 sections and you can work on it at your pleasure and order.

Aug 10 - For those of you who are looking for a piece that comes with guidance, Tiersen's piece is the one for you. It is an easier piece with fingering tips throughout to help you master it. Nielsen's has six short pieces for you to play that all go nicely with one another. Rachmaninoff will entertain you with his version of an Italian Polka.

Aug 6 - Sorry for the delay in posting in music. Summer schedules make life hectic. For your enjoyment we have Lieberman with Nocturne No.2, Scarlatti with his Toccata, and Vianna da Motta with an exercise of virtuosity. All three should put your skills to the test and allow you to grow and learn as you attempt them.
